Two Brothers, One Trade

Randy and Cole Hutchins started Mighty Metal in 1998 with one truck, a borrowed brake, and a bet that Oklahoma homeowners were tired of replacing shingles after every hail season. Twenty-eight years and 2,600 roofs later, the bet's paid off — and the original truck is still parked behind the shop, mostly out of stubbornness.

Both brothers still climb ladders. Randy runs estimates and walks every finished job; Cole runs the crews and the panel machine. If you call the office, you'll get Darlene, who has scheduled every job since 2004 and will not let us overbook your week.
